  "About Lambertus Julles Halsema. He was born in Mensingeweer, community Leens on 19.11.1838. His birth certificate is from Leens no. 87 dated 20.11.1838. I don't have the certificate but I saw it in the archives In Groningen. He emigrated to the USA in 1866 in the "North Sea" and arrived there in May."
