Grandpa Jack took part in the building of the Brooklyn Bridge.
At his funeral, Mom remembers other family members talking about "your Jack" and "my Jack". She laughingly concludes: "there must have been lots of Jack Green's around!"

Her father Jack Green told her that one branch of the family were cabinetmakers in Ireland another branch were weavers (Textiles) in Ireland. She is sure they were engaged in these trades in Ireland before they came to the US. Note
