JHGB says that "Lambert Maria (Batus) never married and died at the age of 27 on 20 Sep 1920." His tombstone lists his death as 12 Sept. 1920.
Mary Agnes Halsema-Buren writes: Uncle Batus died after an appendix operation in Jacksonville, but my father [Henry Halsema] thought he had ptomaine poisoning.
