Kadasterkaart Groot Halsum, Circa 1832 with the farm Groot Halsum (dark blue colour), with yard (yellow), canal (blue), and the landed estades (pink). At the foot left you see the village Kloosterburen.

From a document of division of an inventory from 1870 from Freerk Jansen and his wife Jantje Jans Halsema they talk about: Kervel (chervil?), vlas (flax), rogge (rye), koren (corn), gerst (barley), aardappelen (potatos), klaver (clover), haver (oats?). I think that this was also repretentative for the crops of Groot Halsum.
