These photographs are from Roque Leonardi's (Rocco Lunardi) town of birth and baptism. He was born in the town Gragnanella and baptized there in the Catholic Church of San Bartolomeo. It is the Town of Gragnanella, in the Province of Garfagnana, in the Region of Tuscany. Just before Roque's birth the Region was Modena, and just about the time of Roque's birth the Region was Lucca. Thus many of the census documents, etc for Roque from Florida list him as being from Modena or the Duchy of Modena.
